Manager's Message – Winter 2012
Dear Owners,
Here’s hoping this message finds you all enjoying a fantastic start to the New Year! 2011 was certainly a busy year for the resort, with a lot of great projects being completed – the most notable being unit refurbishments and the introduction of new pool furniture. We trust these enhancements will add to the overall guest experience, and hope you are as pleased with them as we are.
As the building enters its third decade of existence, issues undoubtedly arise with time and 2012 will be another “big project” year for the property. Our first project will be the painting of the building’s exterior - scheduled to commence on March 1, and estimated to take four months to complete. New sealants along with some concrete repair and minor concrete restoration work will also take place. During Super Maintenance weeks in August and September, we are scheduled to start replacing sliding glass doors in the units. These projects - while somewhat noisy, messy and slightly inconvenient - are very important to the integrity of your building and we trust that all Owners will appreciate the work being done to protect your “home away from home”.
This year’s Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012. Your proxies will be mailed on March 21, 2012. Please make sure to vote! All Owners are encouraged to vote online for this year’s election. If you have not already signed-up to receive your information online, you will have the opportunity to do so during the Annual Meeting election process to sign-up and vote online.
